My go-to dish here is the shrimp tempura udon with 4 pieces of California roll. The service is outstanding, and the dishes are stellar! A real treat!

Westlake Village, CA 91362 (818) 540-3231 Beautiful décor, excellent presentation, attentive service, and delicious food! When I go to Roy's Hawaiian Fusion, I know that I can always count on incredible food and excellent service. I always feel special when I go to this restaurant. They pay attention to details. For example, when I have visited the restaurant for a birthday or anniversary, they have printed a special menu with my name on it. I leave the restaurant not only satisfied with a great meal but an amazing dining experience.
For first-timers, I recommend their combination meals, like their fish trio to sample a little bit of everything. They also have tasty Bento boxes with generous portions. But you MUST order the pineapple upside down cake for dessert! It's stellar! Yamashiro
1999 Sycamore Ave., Hollywood, CA 90068 (323) 466-5125 http://www.yamashirorestaurant.com/ Being a native from Southern California, I have heard a lot about Yamashiro in Hollywood and had placed it on my list of restaurants to visit. What I learned from my visit to Yamashiro is that researching a restaurant before visiting it can save you some money and help you select the best dishes. What attracts people to this restaurant are the breathtaking views of the city and its rich history. We arrived early and enjoyed the view and a drink at the bar outside by the pagoda garden. Instead of ordering a $30+ entree, we were more than satisfied ordering a few sushi rolls, tempura, and a unique dessert. I think this dining experience was stellar because I didn't feel like I overpaid for my meal, what we ordered was outstanding, and I was happy to have finally visited this stellar stop. Asakuma Sushi & Chinese 718 New Los Angeles Ave, Moorpark, CA 93021 (805) 552-0806 http://www.asakumacuisine.com Asakuma is a great place to go for delicious and reasonably priced sushi and Chinese food. Each plate of sushi is a beautifully decorated piece of art, and the Chinese dishes are consistently tasty. The restaurant is decorated with a modern, elegant style and is clean. The food comes out promptly and the portions are generous. This is the perfect place to go if you are dining with a group who have some who sushi lovers and other who enjoy Chinese cuisine. Some of my family's favorite dishes are the Crunch Roll, Grand Canyon Roll, Orange Chicken, Lo Mein (soft noodle), White Fish with Broccoli, or Beef with Broccoli. We've never been disappointed at Asakuma, and that is why it is a stellar stop! |
