The food was unique and delicious. Using farm fresh products, Blue Cow Kitchen serves exceptional cuisine at reasonable prices. A real gem in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles!
Malibu Seafood is honestly one of my favorite stellar stops. The surroundings are beautiful, just across the street from the Pacific Ocean and with outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh air. The manager shared that the top 3 popular items are: 1) the fish & chips, 2) the clam chowder, and 3) the chicken strips (for the non-seafood crowd). I also enjoy the fried shrimp here as well. You really can't go wrong with anything that you order! Generous portions, absolutely delicious food, and reasonable prices. There is a special discount for the Pepperdine community, which is a kind gesture on the part of the management. I HIGHLY recommend that you try this stellar stop!

I have not visited this restaurant myself, but this stellar stop was contributed by my dear friend Jeff. He says "Yam and bacon at Ex Novo Brewing Company in Portland, OR. Non-profit brewing company owned by my brother's buddy. Ridiculously good." Thanks for the tip, Jeff!
When in Boston...you are supposed to eat a lobstah roll and clam chowdah! They do it well. And the best part about it is that you don't have to spend a lot of money doing it or go to a fancy restaurant.
Boston Chowda Co. is part of the food court at the Prudential Center. Their special included a lobster roll, small cup of soup, and a small soda or water. How much you ask? Only $16.99, which comes to $18.18 with tax.
There's so much lobster in the roll that I am full before finishing it, but I feel guilty if I leave all this lobster meat. Must. Eat. More. The bun is buttered and toasted--it is perfect! And the chowder is creamy and delish! #bostonstrong

Three words: Sweet Potato Fries. That's all you need to order here. Sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and fried to a perfect crispiness.
My family ordered the Truffle Burger, the Manly Burger, and the Manly Burger Poutin Style (which is over french fries that are covered in gravy instead of a bun - death by carbs I think is its nickname). I don't eat red meat, and I noticed that they had other non-red meat options, but I just opted for the sweet potato fries and was not disappointed.
We also ordered an ice cream sandwich with snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies that wrapped salted chocolate ice cream. I thought it was a bit pricey at $7, but the ice cream was delicious.
Umami Burger is a chain restaurant so Google your nearest location.
Robert's Restaurant is located in Paso Robles and is in the center of town. It is a beautifully decorated restaurant with comfortable chairs and clean linens. What was most memorable to me was this summer salad. It was filled with watermelon, nuts, cheese and a tasty vinaigrette dressing. I am still thinking about how delicious it was and how I might be able to recreate the experience at home. If you happen to be in this wine country and are not sure where to dine, Robert's Restaurant is a solid option.

Fumé Bistro is located at the entry way to all the Napa wineries. I found this bistro because I stayed at the Napa Winery Inn and it included a $50 gift card to this restaurant, which is within walking distance to the inn. So, if you need a place to stay in Napa, this package is an affordable option. The food has a lot of flavor, and the wine menu is extensive. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable. I was delighted by the food, the service, and the location.

Just GO and get an English muffin! DO IT! Light, fluffy, warm and delicious. I'm still dreaming of these English muffins. The bakery also offers cookies and sandwiches, but it's all about the English muffins. Trust me. Two words: ENGLISH. MUFFINS.
