There's a reason why San Francisco is an iconic city in California. From the cable cars to the signature architecture, the steep hills, and the amazing food--there's nothing like San Francisco. My good friend, Sarah Pederson-Dalton, gave us a good tip and directed us on the perfect pathway to visit all the stellar stops of San Francisco. We began with catching a cable car in Union Square that took us up and down the steep hills of the city and then dropped us off at Lombard Street where we had an exquisite view of Alcatraz Island. From there, we walked down the hill to watch the Boudin bakers create the famous sourdough bread, which cannot be eaten without dipping it in some rich and creamy clam chowder. We strolled through the shops of Pier 39 and took pictures with Alcatraz Island in the background. And, I had the most delicious hot fudge sundae that I have ever eaten at Ghiradelli Square. It's a full day of activity and one that will never be forgotten.
