If you ever happen to find yourself in Boston, you MUST stop and take a tour of Fenway Park. This is stellar. I have also visited the new Yankees stadium, and I have to say that the Red Sox definitely win over the Yankees in terms of ballpark tours. The docents at Fenway Park have been well trained; they are friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about the baseball history of Fenway Park and their beloved Red Sox. The tour takes you to all parts of the ballpark--you get to sit in the oldest seats in baseball history, you see the visiting team's quarters, you sit in the press box, walk over to the outfield, and you even get to go up to the Green Monster! (*The first time I took this tour, we did all of these things, but this last time I took the tour, there was a Bruce Springsteen concert being set up so we were not allowed to tour the Green Monster. Best to check the website for these special activities.) http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/bos/ballpark/tour.jsp
