Buy One - Get One Free Entree from Smashburger. You just have to play the game on the site, and then you can print out your coupon afterwards! When I played the game, it actually said that I was only awarded a free side with my entree, but when I took my coupon in, they accepted it as a buy one-get one, so we got a free sandwich! http://tinyurl.com/9orsmxr

Don't forget to Google coupons whenever you can! You might be pleasantly surprised how much money you will save. In looking for a coupon for airport parking, I found this one for WallyPark. Guess where I'll be parking! (*Just be sure to read the fine print carefully...like you can't park on the rooftop.)
http://wallypark.com/LAX/laxCoupon.html Music is an important part of my life. I play it everywhere--in my home, in my classroom and office, and in my car. I think that people underestimate its power. During teacher trainings, I share with my audience that music can be used as a classroom management tool. When I want the students to settle down, I play something soft, and when I need them to be active, I play a genre that is more upbeat. In this technological age, I am very thankful to have music so freely accessible to me. I don't have to remember to bring a CD with me anymore! Pandora and Spotify are two of my favorite websites/phone apps. I know that many of my friends use these tools already, but I just led a faculty training where people had heard of Spotify but had not used it yet. They were easily converted by the end of the training. You simply create a login for Pandora or Spotify from your computer or smartphone, and you have free access to an endless database of tunes. WIth Pandora, you create a "channel" by inputting a particular genre, artist or album, and then Pandora plays randomly selected songs that are similar to the artist or genre you selected. On the other hand, with Spotify, you can create your own playlist, and intentionally select a specific album, song, or artist that you would like to listen to from anywhere that has an internet connection. Today I read that they have the Android app for Spotify for free!, so I know it's available for Android phones too. There are upgrades to both sites that you can purchase to avoid listening to ads and such, but I have been very content with the free versions. FREE music??? This is a dream come true. If you haven't stopped to save by checking these sites/apps out, STOP right now and do it! You will be whistling a happy tune in no time.
In honor of National Cheesecake Day, The Cheesecake Factory is offering half off all slices of cheesecake today and extending the offer until tomorrow with a coupon that can be found on their Facebook page. http://tinyurl.com/cf2hpvb

It's so easy to forget all the discounts that AAA offers, even when you are a member! Just recently I noticed that The Venetian in Las Vegas offered a generous upgrade to a higher category of seats if you were a AAA member. I wouldn't have even thought of asking if they offered AAA discounts, but happened to notice it on their website. We saved almost $25 per ticket for our family of 4 ($100 savings!) and got better seats for the Blue Man Group show! So remember always to stop and ask you can save with a AAA discount! AppsGoneFree is a free app that can be downloaded to your iphone from the App Store. The app showcases apps that have gone free each day! Apps which normally cost anywhere from $ .99 to $7.99 or more have been highlighted daily. Think of all the money you could save if you just stopped to download this app!

If you subscribe to Living Social, they will send you a daily email that highlights discounts to restaurants and experiences in your area. You can simply scan the subject lines of the daily email, and sometimes that short stop in reading your email yields big savings! http://san-fernando.entertainment.com/discount/home.shtml
Entertainment books offer a text full of coupons with endless savings to restaurants, stores, and travel. They usually cost about $35, but late in their season (like now in July), they have been reduced to $5.99 with free shipping! You are likely to save MORE than that in just your first purchase. You may also find the app for the Entertainment Book on your smart phone. Whenever I am making a purchase online or in a store, I do a Google search to look for coupons. This might seem like a silly step to saving money that many people may already know how to do, but sometimes we forget! If you know you are going to buy something or even plan to eat out, try searching for discounts or even free shipping on Google. You might be pleasantly surprised by how much money you can save by taking the time to stop and Google it!
Too many times I have found myself wanting to read a book, listen to a particular CD, or watch a certain movie, but I do not want to pay full price to buy the media. Half.com is a website where people sell new and used versions of books, music, and movies at greatly reduced prices. The shipping fees are also very reasonable. I have purchased audiobooks for 79 cents (with shipping it cost about $3)!
