Being creative and then sharing your creation with the world is difficult. Writers, artists, and even bloggers like myself open themselves up to criticism when they share their talent with the public. We make ourselves vulnerable in this way, which can be extremely frightening. Here, Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of Eat, Pray, Love, encouraged me to be courageous by realizing that this is my talent--to be creative---and if that is the talent that I am to share with this world, then I must...even though I may face criticism.
